A remake of Arcana Romance 1 (2021) from Kocho app!
You are given a special promo from a convenience store to take home 1 free item. As fate (weirdly) has it, whatever you pick out from that store will determine who you will meet eventually (and go on a date if you play your cards right).
Max Fortune, a human, is your guide who will give you tips in scoring your guy (or warning, depending on who it is). Nevertheless, it is all fun and games.
Current Game offers:
- 3~4 endings each available for all 8 routes
- At least, 5 minutes of gameplay for each route
Goal:
Try your best to survive till the end!
How to boot up the game if you are downloading?
- Download the file from this page
- Unzip the file into a folder
- Find 'ArcanaRomance1' with the application type and run it
Why is the web player so slow to load?
Try to reload it the second time and ensure you have stable internet to play it on the web browser.
Why can't I run it on mac?
- Open the game normally. Then it will say the game is not trusted or something like that.
- Click right or option-click the file then select open. From there they will be warned about opening untrusted files.
- Click open anyway and it should work.

Arcana Romance 1 has swear words and adult jokes. Please keep in mind before playing this game!

A short and sweet game, I played 4 routes with all their endings so far, no issues whatsoever. The art style and character designs are great and fit the game perfectly.
My only nitpicks would be that I wish the actual routes were longer (I had a feeling there's a lot of backstory for each character we didn't get to learn) and the introduction could be a bit more elaborate (why we're dating, who the main character is, etc.).
Overall, an awesome job dev! Looking forward to more games from you! :-D
Thank you so much for the feedback! Yeah, this game is made during the early development of a visual novel engine, Kocho. I made this as a way to test the engine and as an example for visual novel makers on the platform. That's why it's so short ^^;;

My previously published games will be transferred over to Kohana. As of now, I am not planning to use Kohana as I will be using Renpy from now on. Perhaps, in the future after I finish developing Arcana Romance 2, I may consider using Kohana.
